Andréa Bristol PT, DPT

Andréa holds a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology from University of Massachusetts Amherst and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. During her time at Northeastern she was a part of the sports concentration and completed her last clinical experience with the Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse team where she was exposed to athletic training and management of acute on field injuries as well as carrying out post operative rehabilitation protocols for athletes on the team.

Andréa has received advanced training in spinal/peripheral joint mobilization through a series of Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Approach post-graduate educational courses. She has completed the Structure and Function Foundations of Dry Needling Course, Level 1 Certification in Blood Flow Restricted Training by Smart Tools, and Functional Movement Systems SFMA Level 1 Course. Andréa is currently working toward a nutrition certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Andréa’s treatment approach utilizes a combination of manual techniques, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, taping, dry needling, blood flow restricted training, and exercise to develop comprehensive treatment programs best suited for the patient. 

Andréa has six years of experience in orthopedic private practice and while she loves post operative care and return to sport protocols, she enjoys helping patients of all ages return to function and reach their goals. 

In her spare time, Andréa enjoys resistance training, riding the Peloton, walking her dog Biggie, traveling with her husband Ryan, playing pickleball, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
